The Barrett PTA Book Fair kicks off tomorrow, Monday, November 5th! We hope you can stop by to take advantage of all the many titles on sale. Every purchase helps support the school, so bring your friends too!
1) Bring your checkbook: We do take all forms of payment (cash, check, credit). But payment by personal check is the fastest method at check-out. We will have 2 stations set up for credit cards, 1 for checks, and 1 for cash.
2) Back orders: Don't worry if we run out of copies of a book you want, because we can always order it for you. Pay for backorders at checkout and the book(s) will be delivered to your child's class within 5-7 school days. Just provide your child's name and teacher. Make sure you give this information to the checkout volunteer.
3) Child's wish list: Teen volunteers will help you find your child's wish list when you arrive.
4) Teacher wish lists: Teen volunteers will help you find your child's teacher's wishlist when you arrive.
5) Receipts: In order to save time and trees, all receipts will be sent by email. There will be no paper receipts.
6) Pre-orders: Author Joyce Hesselberth will be presenting at the next Library night. Pre-order her two books Mapping Sam and Shape Shift via the book fair to have signed at library night. Pre-orders can be paid together with other purchases at checkout. Copies will be delivered to your child's classroom.

5) NEW! Themes: This year books will be arranged according to themes rather than age/reading level. The goal is to encourage children to discover new titles. Pajama Mama will be meeting with all classes on Monday to "book talk" new books, and she will be on the floor at Family Shopping Family Night to help families find the "just right" book.
