[KWPTA] Distribution of Cleaning Supplies and Hygiene Products to Barrett Families: Thursday, July 9

On Thursday, July 9, from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m., we will be distributing cleaning supplies and hygiene products to families at Barrett Elementary.

Each family will receive 6 rolls of toilet paper, liquid hand soap, deodorant, bars of soap, adult shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, dish soap, Fabuloso cleaner, powder bleach, and laundry detergent. Each family - based on requests you have provided us - will also be receiving individualized packages of diapers, feminine products, additional deodorant, and kids and/or baby shampoo. Some families will also receive diapers/wipes. Last week, Elizabeth Rente, Cristina Torres, and Ashley Giglio began distribution of diapers to limit the amount of packages families will have to carry this Thursday.

For this distribution, we are:

• Asking that parents provide us with the name and grade of their youngest child attending Barrett as packages are labeled and organized with their names (for example, if you have more than one child attending Barrett, we only need the name and grade of your youngest child);
• Recommending that you bring a cart, if available, as there will be at least two packages for each family, along with a bottle of laundry detergent (and possibly diapers/wipes); 
• Setting up and distributing at the parking lot area by back steps/gate by Pre-K playground (and NOT at the Barrett front entrance); and
• Requiring that masks be used and families keep a distance of 6-feet from each other.

Because we have personalized and labeled packages for each family (who submitted request forms to us), there is no need to arrive early or right on time. You can arrive at your convenience (between 4:00-5:30) - which will help with preventing long wait times (in the sweltering heat) and help families maintain social distancing requirements.

Families who have not responded and would like to receive packages of these supplies this Thursday, please see attached form (and submit to kwbarrettpta@gmail.com) as soon as possible.

El jueves 9 de julio, de 4:00 a 5:30 p.m., distribuiremos suministros de limpieza y productos de higiene para las familias de la escuela Barrett.

Cada familia recibirá 6 rollos de papel higiénico, jabón líquido para manos, desodorante, barras de jabón, champú / acondicionador para adultos, pasta de dientes, jabón para platos, limpiador Fabuloso, blanqueador en polvo y detergente para ropa. Cada familia, según las solicitudes que nos haya proporcionado, también recibirá paquetes individualizados de pañales, productos femeninos, desodorante adicional y champú para niños y / o bebés.
