Hello,
My name is Luqman Salahadin, current W-L Key Club President. This Halloween we are hosting a Drive-By Pick Up for families with Elementary and Middle School students at W-L from 4 - 5:30 PM (I have attached the Eventbrite below w/ safety info and more). This event has been approved by the W-L administration, and I am asking you to help us by forwarding the message below or notifying all of your PTA members of the event. Although not all families may be comfortable participating in such an event, we realize how important Halloween festivities are to our youth. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Thank you,
Luqman Salahadin (President 2020-21), W-L Class of '21
———————————————————————————-———————————————————————————-"Hey, All!
This Halloween, Washington-Liberty High School's Key Club is organizing a Halloween Drive-Thru event! On October 31st, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Washington-Liberty's Door 1 Entrance, we will be having a "Halloween Stand", handing out Halloween themed goodie bags. Our plan is to have parents and kids drive-thru the designated pathway (in costume!) and receive goodie bags with candy and a Key Club information card inside.
In addition, there will be a QR code website at the stand. When scanned, it will allow participants to donate towards our virtual Trick-or-Treat for Unicef fundraiser! Please invite your friends, family members, or other students to know about the event if they are interested in attending!"
